The measuring & hanging guide
A better fit
starts here.
Two measurements. One hanging method. Bring these details to the product page before you choose.

Measure before you choose
Three steps to your frame.
01
Measure the rod
Measure the coverage width of your rod, rather than only the glass. Add the widths of all panels and allow extra fabric for your preferred fullness.
02
Choose the drop
Measure from the intended hanging point to your chosen hem position. Consider floor clearance, furniture and heat sources.
03
Match the top
Tab tops, back tabs, rod pockets and grommets sit differently. Check the listing and rod compatibility before ordering.
A useful example: two 52″-wide panels provide 104″ of fabric before gathering. They do not necessarily suit a 104″ rod: folds reduce the width they cover.
Understand the top treatment
The way it hangs
changes the rhythm.

Tab top
Visible fabric loops become part of the curtain’s appearance. Take the hanging point into account when measuring.

Back tab
Tabs sit behind the panel for a cleaner front view. Check how the curtain will sit on your existing rod.

Rod pockets
& grommets
A pocket slips over the rod; grommets form visible openings. Match the rod diameter to the curtain’s requirements.
Hardware and included pieces vary by product. Read the exact listing.
Consider the daylight
Choose the layer for your room.
01
Semi-sheer
A starting point for a lighter, more open window. Check the fabric and room images for the individual curtain.
02
Light-filtering
A textured layer that softens incoming daylight. The amount of light and privacy varies by fabric and lighting.
03
Blackout
Explore products listed as blackout when reducing incoming light is the priority. Fit and gaps around the curtain still matter.
These are shopping categories, not a universal performance guarantee. Check each product’s stated opacity.
Your pre-order checklist
Make the details match.
Use the product page as your final reference.
Panel size & quantity
Confirm whether dimensions refer to each panel, and check how many panels are included in the set.
Material & care
Linen-look can include linen blends and polyester. Read the actual material and care details for the curtain you select.
Color & light
Compare the gallery views. Room lighting and your screen can affect the way colors appear.
Hanging method & hardware
Check the stated top treatment, rod requirements and included pieces. Do not assume that rods or rings are included.
